RWI race kits are drilled with universal patterns — fronts 4/144 & 4/156, rears 4/110 & 4/115 — so one kit covers the Yamaha YFZ450R at both ends without adapters. Check another machine in the full fitment guide, or read how the numbers are measured in the ATV bolt pattern guide.

RWI RACE KITS THAT FIT THE YFZ450R

Listed on the compatibility block of each kit as YFZ450 · YFZ450R. Every kit is a complete front and rear package.

CHOOSING WHEELS FOR A YFZ450R

The YFZ450R has been the machine most sport-quad start lines are built around since 2009, and it is the fitment we get asked about more than any other. The numbers RWI publishes for it are listed in the spec cards above — the same values the fitment guide returns when you pick Yamaha, YFZ450R.

Every ATV race kit RWI builds is drilled for it. Kit fronts come in 4/144 & 4/156 and rears in 4/110 & 4/115, so one part number covers the YFZ450R at both ends with no adapters and no spacer stack. Which kit you run is a question of terrain, not fitment.

The GNCC kit pairs a single-beadlock front with a dual-beadlock rear that clamps the inner and outer bead at once — built for hard enduro ground where a rolled bead ends your day. GP2B and MX2B put a reinforced rolled lip inside and a single beadlock outside on all four corners. GP1 and MX1 keep dual reinforced rolled lips up front for riders who want the lightest, simplest front end and save the beadlock for the rear.

All five are machined from heat-treated 6061 T6 aluminum with a reduced air volume design that holds tire pressure steady as heat builds through a moto.

YFZ450R FITMENT QUESTIONS

RWI lists the YFZ450R at a 4/115 rear bolt pattern — four studs on a 115mm circle — with 10mm x 1.25 lug studs, covering model years 2009 through 2024. RWI race kits ship with universal drilling, fronts in 4/144 and 4/156 and rears in 4/110 and 4/115, so a kit covers the YFZ450R at both ends without adapters.

All five RWI ATV race kits fit the YFZ450R: GNCC, GP1, GP2B, MX1 and MX2B. The YFZ450R is printed on the compatibility list of every one of them. Each kit is a complete front and rear package in heat-treated 6061 T6 aluminum with billet aluminum beadlock rings, replaceable steel nut plates and an aluminum-braced valve stem.

Yes. RWI publishes a narrower front and a wider rear for the YFZ450R — the exact figures are in the spec cards on this page. That split is standard for sport and race quads: the narrower front sharpens steering response while the wider rear puts more tire on the ground under power. Every RWI race kit already ships with the correct front-and-rear combination, so there is nothing to work out.

Stay inside the offset RWI publishes for the machine, shown in the spec cards above. Running well outside the factory range changes steering geometry and loads the wheel bearings differently. The race kits are already configured to that offset, so a kit needs no further calculation.
