The lighter, simpler wheel

A rolled lip wheel has no beadlock ring. The tire seats against a rolled edge the way it does on a stock rim, which means fewer parts, less rotating weight, and nothing to torque check before you roll off the trailer. For riders running normal tire pressure, that is the whole argument.

RWI rolled lip wheels are built from the same 6061-T6 aluminum as our beadlocks, with the same heat treatment behind the strength-to-weight ratio. What changes is the lip geometry, not the alloy. The R6 is the 10x5 (4+1) front — the wheel that goes on the front of our MX1 and GP1 race kits, chosen because a lot of fast riders want the lightest possible front end and are not dropping pressure far enough to need a mechanical clamp.

Raw is a real option, not a discount. The raw finish leaves the machined aluminum unpainted, which is what you want if you are building around a specific color scheme, planning to finish the wheel yourself, or you simply prefer that a scuff on a rock does not show as a chip in a coating.

Run a rolled lip up front and a beadlock at the rear if that is how your setup wants to work — the bolt patterns match across the line, with 4/144 and 4/156 up front and 4/110 and 4/115 at the rear, so mixing is a fitment decision rather than a compatibility problem. If you ride aggressively enough to run low pressure for traction, look at the beadlock wheels instead; clamping the bead is exactly the job the ring is there to do. Not sure which side of that line you are on? The fitment guide will narrow it by make, model and year first. Domestic orders over $700 ship free.
