RWI race kits are drilled with universal patterns — fronts 4/144 & 4/156, rears 4/110 & 4/115 — so one kit covers the Kawasaki KFX450R at both ends without adapters. Check another machine in the full fitment guide, or read how the numbers are measured in the ATV bolt pattern guide.
RWI RACE KITS THAT FIT THE KFX450R
Listed on the compatibility block of each kit as KFX400 · KFX450. Every kit is a complete front and rear package.
CHOOSING WHEELS FOR A KFX450R
Kawasaki's KFX450R had a short production run and a long racing life, which is the usual reason someone lands on a page like this: the quad is still competitive and the wheels on it are not. The fitment RWI publishes for the machine is in the spec cards above and covers every year it was built.
Note the bolt pattern before you shop — the KFX450R does not share it with all of the other 450s in its class, and a wheel drilled for the wrong one will not go on no matter how close the numbers look.
RWI race kits remove the guesswork. Kit fronts are drilled 4/144 & 4/156 and rears 4/110 & 4/115, and the Kawasaki line of every kit compatibility block reads KFX400 and KFX450. One kit covers the machine front and rear with no adapters.
After that it is about terrain. The GNCC kit runs a single-beadlock front with a dual-beadlock rear that clamps both beads, built for hard enduro ground. MX2B is the motocross-facing kit with a single beadlock on all four corners, and GP2B carries that same configuration for general sport riding. MX1 and GP1 use dual reinforced rolled lips up front for riders who want the lightest front end, with a beadlock rear behind it.
KFX450R FITMENT QUESTIONS
RWI lists the KFX450R at a 4/110 rear bolt pattern with 10mm x 1.25 lug studs, covering 2008 through 2014. RWI race kits are drilled 4/110 and 4/115 in the rear and 4/144 and 4/156 up front, so a kit covers the KFX450R at both ends without adapters.
All five RWI ATV race kits fit: GNCC, GP1, GP2B, MX1 and MX2B. The Kawasaki line of every kit compatibility block reads KFX400 and KFX450, so both the 400 and the 450 are covered by the same kits.
RWI publishes a narrower front width and a wider rear width for the KFX450R; the exact figures are in the spec cards on this page. The narrower front sharpens steering feel while the wider rear puts more tire down under acceleration, and every RWI race kit ships with the pair already matched.
RWI publishes a separate fitment row for each — check both in the fitment guide before moving a set of wheels between them. Both machines are named on the compatibility block of all five RWI race kits, so a kit fits either one.
